FOOD SHOULD BE THE #1 SCHOOL SUPPLY

I Can Feed For Miles are a group of High School students in Michigan that are dedicated to seeing the elimination of school hunger, lunch debt, and lunch shaming.

About

I Can Feed For Miles is a nonprofit founded by high school students committed to ending childhood hunger and eliminating the stigma around school lunch debt. We partner with communities to fundraise, spread awareness, and directly support students and families in need. Through donations and fundraising, I Can Feed For Miles pays off student meal debt and restores dignity within those students and families.

Our Story

It all started with a simple realization: no student should ever face hunger or shame at school.

Founders Cass Kepler and Nick Thiele, juniors at Groves High School in Beverly Hills, Michigan, discovered that many kids across the country face daily food insecurity. After learning that students regularly accrue lunch debt and can experience shame because of it, Cass and Nick decided to take action.

Believing food should be considered the number one school supply, they started I Can Feed For Miles to raise funds to help families erase school lunch debt and restore dignity to students facing hunger
